OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) requires employers to inform workers about hazardous chemicals in the workplace.   Employers are required to develop and implement a written Hazard Communication Program that includes a list of hazardous chemicals present in the workplace and procedures for communicating chemical hazards to workers.
